A New Way to Save!

I’m trying out a new way to save! It is called Saving Star. It is an interesting concept, because rather than the amount of a coupon coming off your total,  you can cash in your savings for an Amazon gift card or have it deposited into your bank or Paypal account.

Want to know more? Here you go! Sign up for a Savings Star account. Link your grocery store and drug store loyalty accounts.  I hooked up my CVS, Rite Aid, Winn Dixie and Kroger cards to my account.  Next you go to the Savings Star website and activate the coupons you want. I just downloaded all of them.  When I buy those items at the stores linked to my account, Savings Star says the amount of the coupon will be deposited in MY Savings Star account. When I save $5, I can cash it out. (I’m going to save mine for an  Amazon gift card!)

Another REALLY cool thing about this couponing tool is the fact that you can download the app on your iphone or android phone.  I can just activate the coupons from my phone!

The coupons are pretty good! I found diapers, trash bags, dog food, cat food and detergent– all brands I would purchase anyway.

I just downloaded Savings Star, so I haven’t yet gotten a payout.  I’ll let you know how it goes!
