7 Tips for Saving on Turkey Day

Yep, Thanksgiving is one week from today.  Already have your bird?  Several stores ran specials recently where you could get a store brand turkey for as low as .59/lb and a Butterball for .99/lb.  That’s not a bad deal.  I suggest checking out our local farmer’s market stores for veggies.  There are usually really good deals on greens, sweet potatoes, etc.  Also, don’t forget to use coupons on canned, frozen and boxed goods, plus any other items that might be on your menu. You can check out coupon match ups through websites like couponmom.com or blogs like kelly’scouponaddiction.com.  If you’re hosting, relax, take it easy and don’t get bent out of shape about decorations and such.  After all, it’s a time to enjoy your family and be thankful for what you have!
